Arrival Story:
Bought him from a pet store who got him from a puppy mill! Really awful, found out he was such a sick puppy, spent over 5G's on pet bills, then found out all we had to do was add a little yam, yogurt and rice to his kibble, and he's happy as a clam.. Now, he's just so sleepy, tired, and does nothing all day except sleep. He gets along with my other 3 year old mini long haired dachsund named Bella, but he terrorizes our cat to crazy fighting matches. He gets along with big dogs but not other little dogs. He gets along really well in dog parks. He's close to 9 months, 85lbs, and is a just a big sweetie. He doesn't fit our lifestyle, as we're active people who like a dog that keeps on going and going..He's a little too boring and sedated for me. We love him very much but having a dog to me is having a best friend for life, and he really doesn't put up his share of the friendship. If you're looking for a couch potato and someone to watch the tele with and walk just 3 times a day..he's the dog for you!
