Arrival Story:
Xena 9/15/99 ~ 4/13/09 Phyllis our cousin called us and told us we had a litter of Yorkipoo puppies and asked if we wanted one. Well of course we did. I was so very excited. We traveled to Clint and Lucille's (Phyllis's Mom & Dad's)home in Price, Utah to pick her up. She was such a cutie and so very tiny and loving.
Bio:
The most loving and friendly little gal we have ever had the blessing to call our own. 100% lap dog and the bestest little one to cheer you up and calm you down!!! She became Epileptic after getting a rawhide chewy knot caught in her throat and going without oxygen too long and damaging her trachea. She was on a twice daily dose of Phenobarbital to control her seizures, but still had seizures periodically. She was the mother symbol to our pack and made sure all her furblings always had clean faces. April 13, 2009 Xena woke us up at 4:05 am in a severe grand mal seizure. After giving her 7.5 mg of Valium rectally and she still did NOT come out of it, I call the vet and we met him at the hospital. He worked on her feverishly giving her another 5 mg. of Valium IV, oxygen, gas to sedate and make her sleep all to no avail. Xena's seizure caused a major stroke and at 7:05 am she made her way to the Rainbow Bridge and God's precious care. This is our Tribute to our precious Xena ~ Forever Our Baby Girl who will NEVER be Forgotten. Till we meet again Baby Z we Love and Miss you~Momma & Daddy
