Arrival Story:
We lost our beloved Yorkshire Terrier in the spring of 2001. My grandmother, who is in her 80's and not in the best of health, stood at the kitchen window for weeks, saying "You know, I can still see him (our Yorkie) out there in the yard." That was when I knew that I had to get her another little dog to love.
I looked through the paper and found a woman who had a litter of Pomeranians for sale. I went to look at them, promising myself that I wouldn't buy one just for the sake of buying one, but almost as soon as I walked in, this little black furball bounded across the kitchen floor and pounced on my foot! I barely had time to even see her, the little bugger moved so quickly! It was love at first sight....
Bio:
Buffy has now turned from a little black ball of fur into a beautiful, sable girl. As it turned out, despite my grandmother's love for her, she was a bit too active as a puppy for my grandmother to handle; so she became mine. I'm certainly not complaining!!!! She's the sweetest little dust mop (LOL) anyone could ever want, and at only 7lbs, she's got a confidence and a swagger that most big dogs would be envious of.
