Arrival Story:
I was visiting a friend's mother in Upstate NY (Livingston County) and we went to the pound. A woman said that she was a stray and she took her in but the puppy scratched her grandson and didnt want her. (Thank God) She was believed to be only 5 weeks old and very thin. My friend, her mom and the shelter worker had her outside to run around when I forgot something in the car. I walked to the car and she came running after me and jumped in the front seat, looked at me as if she was saying "I'm ready.. take me home." The shelter had to hold her for 7 days, we were supposed to leave NY to go back home to PA on Friday but the day that she was going to be available for adoption was not until Sunday. I had begged work to give me the extra time off and stayed to take her home.

Bio:
When I first took Bella to the vet they told me that she was a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix of some sort. As I kept taking her for her puppy shots she grew more sideways then she did up. I was doing some research on what breed she really was and came across the pit bull. I had a beagle when I was growing up and I can tell the bark anywhere. Bella has the beagle bark so that is what makes me think she has some type of beagle in her. She is a very laid back dog that loves to bark and bother her brother, Kody.
