Hey everyone it’s me Lincoln again. I’m doing great in my foster home. I have learned that I don’t need to be protective of my food anymore because I get fed 2 times a day, EVERY day. I wasn’t use to that when I first got here and tried to protect my food. But I’ve gotten past that now. I really like to get lots of love and attention. My foster mom says I give the best kisses, not to slobbery. My itching is finally clearing up and Mom said I will be starting my heartworm treatment soon. She thinks the treatment will be hard for me because I have to stay calm. And she’s probably right. I love to run and play with my foster sister. I’m young and have lots of energy but can be sweet and cuddly too. I also like to talk and growl when I play or want attention. Mom said I can sometimes sound like “Chewy” from Star Wars when I'm talking. I don’t know who or what she’s talking about but she laughs when I do it. I like making her laugh. If you’re looking for a guy like me then fill out one of those applications fast before someone gets ahead of you. Cause once I finish my treatment I’ll be all set to go to my new home.

Hi, my name’s Lincoln. I’m so glad to be out of that shelter and getting the
care I need. See I have a big wound on my back and I’m itchy all the time.
My new Mom said I got hit by something called a car. I’m not sure what that
is but it really hurt me. Mom said thankfully I didn’t have any inside
injuries. Then she told me I was itchy cause I have sarcoptic mange. She’s
already started treating me for the itchies with stuff she got from the dog
doctor but I’m still really itchy. She said she promised it will start
getting better soon. I also have something called heartworms. She said I
will have to get treated for that after we get the itches and wound taken
care of. The vet said if my wound isn’t healing properly I may need to have
surgery. They said the surgery will help it heal. That sounds real scary so
I hope the cheese mom gives me and the stuff she puts on it every day heals
it. I don’t like scary things. The place I just came from was scary enough.
Mom said I have a lot to learn. She says I don’t really have any manners.
But she says I’m a fast learner cause I already figured out how to get out
of the crate and get over baby gates that are 2 high. She’s also been
teaching me how to sit for treats. Mmmm Yummy. There’s not much I won’t do
for food. She also is teaching me to wait for my food. Once I hear “OK” I
can come up to the bowl and eat. I also have to wait going in and out of the
house. Uh oh I gotta go, I heard food hit the bowl. Oh, I hope it’s for
meeee. I’ll update you again real soon.
