Ty likes to sing and will 'woo-woo' if you whistle to him

Arrival Story:
Ty is a Siberian Husky that was originally living on someones front porch. He has been taken in by a family and is living primarily in the backyard until a home can be found for him. He is incredibly friendly and sweet and desparately wants to be inside with the family. Ty is good with other dogs but has some slight resource guarding issues that can be worked out with a patient owner. Other than that, he is playful with other dogs. Any potential adopters will need to be met in person. He has won many hearts already and several people have come together to try to find him a permanent home. His new home must be willing to work with him to house train him as he is not fully house trained. We really want him to be a part of a family, it is simply much too hot for a Mal to be outside in this GA heat and he clearly craves to be with people. Ty is neutered and UTD on all shots. ----------------------------- Originally, when we set out to find Ty a home, we were told that he may be a 'wolf hybrid', the story on Ty was all very confusing when I was first contacted. We were able to rule out 'wolf' on him, then found that he was NOT UTD on shots and got that part done. When we DID find Ty a home, the original owner came through with papers for him, AKC registration papers that included extensive information on his parents, the meaning of his name, which is actually Tia Luna Ray (Tai meaning - Big One) and that he is a Siberian Husky, not a wolf and not a Malamute :) He is very underweight but will be getting well fed and good nutrition to get him looking and feeling good quickly!

Tai Luna Ray was born on 1/10/06 and did face misfortunes in his life and we are hoping that life has turned around for him as he does have a new home. He has been renamed Tye-dye and is already doing great at being potty trained! As for getting on with the resident dog...he is still working that out! : ) A few minor scuffles, so hopefully, they will both be behaving together greatly soon.
