Arrival Story:
I went to see the litter. He was slowly walking around, following mom for milk, then tried to get milk from dad (obviously not working), then he came to me. I picked him up, he licked my nose and I smelled puppy breath. Then he laid down in my arms and fell asleep. I was hooked! He came home during the 4th of July weekend. He slept all the way home. I thought he was going to be an angel and be a peaceful pup. The next day, the little terror took over our house and our hearts. :)

First 24 Hours

I was just playing around with some kid when my mom and dad came to get me. I was really tired, so I didn't notice when I was put in a car with them. I slept the whole car ride. Mom and dad brought me home and all I wanted to do is explore for about 10 mins and then crash for another nap.

Mom was so proud of me because that whole day, I went potty outside when she took me out. Last night, I didn't like it at all. I fell asleep, but I woke up 2 hours later and discovered I was in a crate. I didn't care about my toys, I wanted out NOW. I wanted to play all night long. I don't understand why mom didn't want to. But I got what I wanted and mom stayed up with me.

And when the sun started to come up, I demanded it was time to get up again! Mom was tired, but you know what? I'm too cute, that it didn't matter. I'm ruling this house!

All day today, I chased around my new big sister, Jaymie. I discovered the cat doesn't like me much and I absolutely LOVE mom's pant legs when she walks. I'm practicing my lungs a lot. I'm howling, barking and growling. I can be really loud! When we go outside, I just bark bark bark at everything. I even bark at the wind! I want everyone to hear me ROAR!

I love all the new toys I have, especially my stuffed toys and my puppy kong. I like playing tug o war the most. I can growl really loud when we play that game.

Oh! I love to eat too!! I even lay down in my bowl while I eat!

Time to take another puppy nap. I have big dreams to dream! I hope to keep mom up all night tonight, too! It will be fun!
