He was adopted from a woman who received him as a gift from her boyfriend. She has since joined the coast guard and did not have enough time for him.
He was adopted from Penny Angel Beagle Rescue in New Jersey on 1/30/05.

I love snow.. I love it so much that I like to tear up every tissue and paper towel in the house so that I can play in the snow inside..
Last week we got almost 18 inches of snow and it is so much fun. Since I am only 15 inches tall, I had to jump from place to place just to go any where.
Sometimes I would get stuck and daddy had to drag me out.
Why can't it snow all the time!

Well things have been very busy for me lately. Daddy has moved out of the concrete jungle to a house that has green grass everywhere!! In my backyard there are people that hit little white balls with metal sticks...I like to bark at them before they hit the ball, but then Mommy and Daddy tell me to stop. I am just trying to tell those people to get off my grass.
My new house has two flights of stairs that I like to run up and down. Mommy and Daddy have fun chasing me around the new house. I like to run in circles and up and down the stairs. Afterwards, I like to sit on the couch in between Mommy and Daddy and sleep while they watch TV.
My new house is very quiet. Daddy used to live near Jefferson Hospital and it was very loud all day long. Now, I like to bark at any noise I may hear. Sometimes, in the middle of the night I will hear noises and howl to protect Daddy. I am trying to show Daddy that even though I am small, I am a good guard dog.
I think I hear someone in the kitchen, time to go beg for some food!!
