Arrival Story:
_7.01.2010 - Well, hey y'all! So glad you decided to check up on little ol' me. Things here are just peachy. I have been in my foster home for two weeks now and things are moving along nicely. I have adapted to the routine and am just loving life. I live with a male boxer who is three (which is older than me) but, ahem, a lady doesnt tell her age. I also live with a heathen younger female boxer who needs to learn a thing or two about respecting her elders, hee hee. Really, I love them both and have been known to chase them around the old oak tree in the back yard. But mostly I prefer to lie down at my foster family's feet. Sometimes I wag my tail so hard it hits me in my face and heaven help the dog who is walking behind me...bam! bam! bam! with my tail. So sorry dear, but there are some things a girl cant control. I have been told I am a restful type of gal. I am a girl who likes life's little luxuries, a soft bed to sleep on, delicious kibble a couple times a day, a kind word, and a cuddle, or two, or twelve. And yes, I am worth it. Until next time...Love, Mallory

Bio:
_8.1.2010 - ***WHEW*** What a month it has been. I packed up my bags and moved to my foster home. I have been spayed and quite frankly, that was very unpleasant and I did in fact give my foster family a piece of my mind. Of course I have forgiven them now, but I was madder than a wet hen for a little while. I am getting used to my new surroundings and have been making myself at home. I have a soft bed to sleep on (when that other foster dog doesn't hog it) and delicious food to eat. A lady always cleans her plate. I do not play, I am too civilized for that. Just don't check up on that, okay? There seems to be some rumors going around that I chase the other dogs and roll in the grass. I have also heard that I like to chase dragonflies and lightning bugs. Humpf! Have you ever heard such nonsense? Imagine! I will start treatment soon for those pesky heartworms. My foster mom says she doesn't think treatment will be a problem for me because I am not a wild thing like some in this house. I am a calm and gracious lady that I enjoy meeting new people and dogs on my walks. I don't really pull on the lead, but I do like to stop to smell the roses. I am most happy lying at my family's feet and getting loved on. My foster mom says I have the best smile. I come when I am called and sit for treats which I take gently. I am in love with the guinea pig in the house. I watch him when he is in his cage and when he is out running around I like to sniff his head. I am looking for a home with someone to love me. My needs are few and simple, a cozy bed, a bone or two, some kibble. If you think you are the family for me, then darling, LETS CHAT! Until next time...Love, Mallory Needs work on: Housebreaking, obedience commands and leash training. Mallory is very well adjusted and would do well in most settings.

*****************************************

Well hi there darlin', its great to see you! My name is Mallory and I am
just about the sweetest gal you ever could meet. My favorite place is lying
at your feet. My favorite activity is being petted and cuddled. I may not
be fast but I make up for that in pure lovability. I have heartworms right
now and will begin treatment once I am spayed. My foster mom doesnt think
it will be hard for me to be still while those darn heartworms are taken
care of. :) I dont have to be crated during the day, I am left out when my
foster mom goes to work, no destructive activities here! She usually finds
me by the thump thump thump of my tail. I tell her my tail is made for
wagging and sometimes I get so carried away, my back half wags and wiggles
too! I naturally sit when I come up to you, and I am learning down. I dont
remember having much leash training, but I am mostly agreeable to going
where you want me to go. Sometimes I get distracted by smells. I do my
business outside and havent had an accident yet! I sleep in the human
teenager's room and he says I go to sleep immediately and sleep all night.
And if you ask him, he might say I am a heavy breather or almost a snorer.
Well, just dont ask him, okay? I ride well in the car, sometimes stretching
out fully and snoring, i mean SNOOZING, the whole trip. My foster family
says I am the most well behaved, sweetest and easy going foster they have
ever had. I am hoping to find my forever home and spread my love around.
If you are interested in a delightful and friendly companion, then I am the
girl for you. Until next time...Love, Mallory
