Arrival Story:
We didn't expect to become Amy's family. We actually visited her breeder/owner's kennel to meet Amy's latest litter of puppies, who were all adorable but also all spoken for. We were sad to hear this, but then the breeder told us that the puppies' mom was going in to retirement and was looking for her forever home. It wasn't even a question. When I found out her AKC registered name was Circus Circus, like the hotel casino in Las Vegas, where I lived for 7 years, I knew it was fate.
She is 3 and a half, an Election-Day baby, a champion show dog, and a sweetheart.
Bio:
Her given name is Ch. Heronsway Circus Circus. She was given her everyday name after Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-MN. She's a very politically-oriented dog, which makes her especially meant for our political-junkie-household. Election Day is now twice as special!
