Arrival Story:
Ozzy was left tied to a porch when his owner was evicted. He is a Rottweiler/Mastiff/Lab mix. He is very thin. He is going to be neutered and UTD with his shots. He is 1 year old, he is still a pup. We are going to work on manners with him and basic commands. He is a very nice boy! He is getting along with my 2 dogs and he is good with my 2 kids. I don't know about cats yet! With a little time and training he will be a wonderful family pet. He walks very well on a leash.
2/11/05----Ozzy does have some food aggression issues and he can be aggressive with my 2 dogs at times. I think he would be best placed as an only pet, or someone very willing to work on these issues with him. Hopefully his neuter coming up next week will help with some of his issues. He LOVES all people and was an absolute charmer at the adoption clinic at Petsmart today! He did really well with the other dogs, too.

Ozzy is up for adoption through Erie Shores Humane Society. His adoption fee is 85.00. Call his foster mom, Maureen at 440-233-8424 to make arrangements to meet this very sweet boy!
UPDATE!! Ozzy was adopted on 3/12 and has a new home!!

Well I have a new mom and a new home. My foster family came to visit me the other day. I was really glad to see them. I was so excited I ran into the sliding glass door! I was okay though!I have a lot of babies to play with and a new rope to play tug of war with. My new family is awesome. I am a lucky dog!!

I am not really sure what this neutering thing was all about, I have not changed one bit!! I still love playing with my foster sister Leila, and my foster brother Dexter and I pretty much ignore each other. I am going to another adoption clinic this Saturday, at Petsmart in Elyria! I will be there from 12:30 to 3PM. Please stop in and see me if you are around!!

I think I am deciding that I actually like my foster brother and sister. I can play the roughest, because I am the biggest! Dexter will tell me to mind my manners when he needs to though. And Leila loves to play as much as I do. She is one tough cookie! I am surprized Mr. Oinkers the squeak toy is still in one piece. We take turns stealing him from eachother all day. Leila hides under the coffee table so I can't reach her. I just bark in her face until she comes out, and the chase is on!
