Arrival Story:
KK is a sweet, gentle, affectionate German Shorthaired Pointer, approx. 3 or 4 yr.old, who recently had puppies. Like all GSP's she needs regular exercise and enjoys a good chase which is why she probably wouldn't be the best fit around animals such as chickens, rabbits, small animals and cats. Her foster mom says she is great with children; she is currently living with three and another Pointer. She is crate trained and has fairly reliable recall....a very easy family dog but she still requires obedience training for bonding. Because she has not had a stable life(several different homes) she is anxious when left alone and she bonds quickly with her caretaker. She will also need to a good diet and exercise routine to lose some more weight. KK would do best in a very active home with lots of people and another dog for company.
