I am the Big Sister

Mom has a close call!

Hi everyone! This will be quick, Mom just got home from the hospital, she had a stroke. She was in the nursing home and the hospital. It was an ordeal for us. The wonderful girls at the kennel kept us and Dad pretty much lived at the hospital. Mom has therapists helping her and naturally us three kept her company. Typing is part of her therapy. Dad is the best guy ever!

Hey, it's my Third Birthday!

Wonder what they will get me??? I'm three years old today. I'm really hoping for a Furminator to remove some of my shedding hair and for a new Cuz, 'cuz Cindy Lou took over my best one without the squeeker. I'll let you know what I get! Love, Sarah

Holy Cow, Mom!

Well, Mom's done it again. Look how long it's been since she's added anything into my diary. I guess I can't fault her too bad, cause the last time she wrote, My sister Mocha was still with us. You see, Mocha died a year ago last June, and Mom just couldn't stand it. Mocha was a great sister, but she had some problems, like she just ate anything. She ate a towel, and it cost Mom and Dad $2.000 to get it out, then 6 weeks later, she ate some wood, some rocks and more fabric, and the Dr. couldn't save her. So, I became the big sister, and it aged me lots. Mom and Dad brought home a new Chocolate Lab sister, Sadie Jane, and I liked her, but she wasn't Mocha. I grieved for about 6 months before I really started playing again. This summer, June, exactly, Mom and Dad brought home Cindy Lou, a Black Lab pup. So, now I am the big sister. I decided to ignore Cindy for a while, till I decided the kid was ok, now I clean her ears and trick her all I can. Oh, man, you should see her face when I got to the back door and she runs outside, then I turn around and go back into the house. She's outside alone! Ha! Sucker! She falls for it every time. Sometime I'll have to tell you about my Tennessee cousins, Odean, Powie and Darby Tsu. They are way cool. See ya later, Sarah
