Arrival Story:
I was searching siberian huskies for many many years (since I owned Kilo- our first dog). I happen to come across shawano shelter who just got a momma husky dog with a litter of 7 pups. We drove 3 hours to see these pups. All they had left after only two days watching the site-two boys-a grey and white and a deep red and grey plus one little girl black and white- pure husky markings, when I inquired about her,she was already wanted by someone else but if they didn't call within two hours she would be ours.we stuck around shawano till that time was up.They called and said the girl was adopted but they still had a two greys left.So we went back,to look. They didnt have this lil male there the first time we saw the pups.until we went back, and he had such a playfull disposition, and the green-blue eyes. He was very light tan with the husky stripe down his forehead. Just had to take him home.So I applied for him, they said they had to do a background check on us. We drove back to milwaukee, long weekend while waiting and then I get a call monday morning, Come pick up the puppy he can go home with you! then it all began.....

Bio:
5 days after having Kodi home,he started to look sickly. I have been thru other dogs being sick and eventually passing on so I knew that look well.We gathered him up at 1am a friday night/saturday morning and took him into the emergency animal clinic. Poor baby was suffering from the start of the parvo virus. We were lucky to have gotten him in there at first signs of diarrhea.he bill was quoted at 500 dollars a day,but since it was caught so early, he had a very good chance of making it thru.It was so hard to leave him, specially when they hand you back the puppies collar.Everyday after work we would go see him.By the third day,we were told he could come home.1500 dollars on charge and now I have a healthy rumbuntious teenage dog that gets into all my plants, flowers, and spot of dirt..like a younster would. He has this thing now with running in front or away from the backyard, which I am working on to break him of. Other than those lil issues,he is the most love-able baby, always near you and wanting to touch you.. even tho he ended up costing me alot of money, its all worth my lil Do-ders.
