 Quick Bio:
Likes: Feet, shoes, socks (has a foot-fettish)

Arrival Story: 16Jul2010: I have had Nao with me for almost 3 weeks now. She is settling in so well. We are getting a regular schedule for walks and feeding. The first couple of days we had a couple of accidents while I was figuring out her needs. She has also finally won over her fur brother, he was a little jealous and possessive of his toys for the first week. But now they take turns rubbing on each other, and eating out of each others' bowls and swapping Kongs. Nao is starting to win over my cat, too. The cat still only tolerates her presence, but now allows her to get close and sniff. Pretty soon the cat will be head butting and rubbing on her too.
She has such a sweet face and temperament. She has a foot fetish, and loves to play with your feet and rub herself all over them. And the look of ecstasy on her face when she is doing that is so entertaining. She is really getting settled, and I get to see more and more of her real personality everyday. She is such a sweet girl. She is really easy to walk on leash. I keep her in a harness and leash most of the time so I can get her attention and keep her out of trouble. She sleeps a lot, but when she is awake she loves to play with your feet, chew on her Kong, or go out and romp in the grass. With her being hard of hearing I can't allow her outside without being on a leash, and she wants to play chase with her fur brother in the yard. I am thinking about hooking up a way to connect their harness's so they can romp together in the yard with supervision.

Bio: Write up for pet finder/dogster: Fun loving ol’ girl. Loves attention and full-body rubs. Enjoys short, leisurely walks, and romps in the yard. Never met another dog or person she doesn’t like. But she does get overwhelmed by younger, overly energetic pups. Once she got acquainted with my cat, they ignore each other mutually. Have yet to find an actual toy that attracts her attention. But she gets quite fixated on my feet. Wants to rub and lick them, and be rubbed by them. She also will gather socks and shoes and roll in them. She is a pretty low-energy girl. She has her brief moments of activity, but then settles down to nap. She wants to be in your presence at all times and will follow you around the house, just to keep you near. I have not yet heard her bark, although she does whine, softly on occasion. This is quite unusual for a deaf dog, but I am definitely not complaining. She is all Boxer, and is quite the clown. She loves to be the center of attention, and will place herself in the middle of things to get the attention she deserves. She is such a love.
Must be in a home that has the following: When alone needs to be confined and would be best with someone who is home a lot. When left to herself will raid the laundry (clean or dirty), closets, or anything left on her level. Likes to spend lots of time close to home, and has a pretty regular routine, enjoys romping in the yard and the company of other senior dogs.
