He sits to any command (including entire sentences, as long as they're the right tune), and he sings to the piano, leading the other dogs (who also sing)
Arrival Story:
I was in 2nd grade at the time, and coming home after school one day, I saw that there was a black dog in the back yard... I thought it was the neighbor's dog at first, who always ran away and explored the neighborhood, so I ran up to the fence, and I yelled "Buddy!" and went up to pet him. Then my mom said, "You can call him that if you want"... My mom had rescued Max from the pound that day:)... I would've given him a much more original name, but he already new the name Max, from his previous owner.
Bio:
Max was taken from his previous owner when he was almost a year old. She wasn't cruel (intentionally), but she just didn't know how to take care of a dog. She had him tied to a pole in the basement (he refuses to go in basements now), and let him outside every few days. She fed him once a day, did something to make him afraid to howl. He *really* howls now! :)
