Arrival Story:
I got Rueben as a baby and he's been with me for my life's highest highs and lowest lows. Today is my lowest low - March 23, 2005 - I found out today that Rueben has a rapidly growing cancer in his body. There is nothing that can be done to save him. See diary below for Rueben's update. He's gonna make it!!

Rueben's Brave Journey - The Best Dog Ever


Rueben lost his battle to cancer :o(

The saddest day for us came on October 4th, 2005. Rueben lost his battle and we had to let him go. It was another type of cancer that was unresponsive to the trial drugs. He was the best dog in the whole wide world and our hearts ache constantly for him. We love and miss him so much.

Rueben's cheek cancer is in full remission. He did have surgery on his lip to remove the lump and it turned out to be another type of cancer :o( - It hasn't grown back yet though and he's doing great. He's our star.

Rueben's cancer is 90% GONE!! He does have some hardened cells in his lip that may have to be removed, but there is a good chance that his cancer will go into full remission thanks to this cancer drug. He says "Thanks for the doggie prayers."
