My son, age four, wanted a puppy. Money was tight, so we went to the pound and found Star. He was only about 6 or 7 weeks old. We didn't know at the time that he was purebred GSD.
Bio:
Once, when he was two years old, Star ran away from home. We were frantic, posting signs, going door to door. After two weeks, my wife suggested we check the pound. I didn't have any hope, but he was there. You should have heard his bark when he answered my call!
We lost Star on Thanksgiving 2003. He was the best friend I had ever had.
