Arrival Story:
When our family pet passed away the kids were so sad. On the way to school my 9 year old son told me how he is having a rough week because he has no one to feed in the morning. My husband and I had been talking about finding a pup for the family so I started searching shelters for adoption. I came across an ad on CL about a person needing to re-home their beagle because she barks too much for the apartment. That same day we drove over to meet her and I fell in love. Her name was "Coco Bean" and these people had only had her for 6 weeks. They received her from someone else who decided she wasn't right for them. I felt so bad for her, not even a year old and re-homed twice!! We brought her home and she fit in perfectly. She didn't recognize her name as Coco so I decided to call her Sophie (which she seemed to recognize instantly). Sophie and the kids get along wonderful, she has found her forever home!
