Adopt 2010 contest

friday

On friday I finally go to get fixed. Mom said it will be ok, not so sure about that. Now that I am finished being in "heat" and making a mess the vet can do what she needs to do. Mom said I will spend alot of time sitting in my kennel relaxing. I also will get my shots because mom doesnt know what my previous dad did or did not. Mom also thinks I am turning one sometime. Bad paperwork and organization my official Papers are lost, unk birthday. Mom says it makes me more like my big sister Maxi. She came home about a year old,not really sure history. Yesterday I used my sister as a chair she was laying down looking confortable and sat right on her. Mom says I am fitting right in. More to come ( I am sure)

YEAY ME !

I have learned to sit for 5 minutes and get pet. I liked to be pet on the head and the neck and even have rolled over for a tummy rub. what an accomplishment ! Mommy and Daddy are so excited how much I love my new home toys,kids,cookies and PETS !

Adoption 2010 contest

My name is now Halo and I am 10 months old (maybe) and have already been at 3 houses before finally getting to my forever home. I was born to a liter and adopted by a family that wanted to make me a service dog for an elderly gentleman. So you figure I was with my liter mates for 2 months, then the elderly man who I guess I loved passes away. I only lived there maybe 6 months. His wife could not take care of me and put me in the backyard. Then a rescue group took me in and trained me for 3 weeks. I really liked my trainer, he had other dogs that looked just like me. I got to play with them everyday. It was better then living in the backyard alone. I thought, well finally. The next thing I know I get put in a car and drive away...again. I get to a home with this really cute black and white dog who is growling at me and wont share her toys. This was a week ago. I am at my forever home. Mommy said she wont let anything happen to me and that I would be with the forever. This is very exciting for me, I am not even a year old and on my 4th house. I never had toys or treats which made mommy really sad. So now I live like a queen and that other dog, likes to play with me. If only I could talk and they could understand how happy I am now. All I do is lick the family ! I am finally HOME!
