Bio: Benny has a bit of a checkered past and has drawn blood from more children and adults than can be counted. He's been exceedingly fortunate to have been rescued, fostered and adopted by some amazingly caring and tolerant people. But he finally reached the end of his road of options and is now a permanent part of our four-legged family. The big goof is very much loved and has somehow turned into a cuddly ole boy who hasn't bitten a single time since his return to his final foster home.

Hey, there. Nice to meet you. My diary is called Handydog because I'm involved in all the home repairs in my foster home. I supervise and help out with the cleaning and maintenance. I like my job.
Today, I helped clean gutters. The gloppy gutter debris was thrown down to me in the yard and I leaped around to catch it. It didn't taste that great, but I made sure it all landed safely. My foster mom laughed at me. I like that. It makes me wag my tail and do the Benny Shimmy.
I'm a very helpful boy. One time I was supervising a toilet repair and noticed that the instructions seemed to be confusing. So I gently lifted the booklet from the human's hand and ambled down the hall with it. I intended to study it so that I could be of service, but you know how hardheaded some humans can be.
Tomorrow I get to help hang a little cabinet. I like home decorating, too.
