Arrival Story:
We were looking for a companion type dog, and found the Cavaliers to pretty much match what we were looking for. We scoured the shelters and rescues, but didn't have any luck. Finally after several weeks of searching high and low, we found a breeder in town who was looking to find Ruby a home. She was a perfect fit!
Bio:
Ruby is an AKC registered CKCS. Her registered name is Star's Little Miss Ruby Ann. She was bred a few times but only had 2 puppies so they gave up. She was really meant to be a family pet. She loves to receive lots of attention and one-on-one time. She loves to snuggle.

Woof woof! Wow! I'm excited to be picked today!!
Mama took me to that nasty 'ol V-E-T place yesterday. While there I saw another doggie waiting to get a bath. He was dirty but I wanted to be his friend! Mama said "no" and pulled me back. Then a couple nice girls took me away to get my "big surgery" :( I don't understand what the big surgery is, I just know I was nice and comfy on the couch at home and then suddenly I was at this bad place and now I have a sore belly.
Mama is coming to pick me up this afternoon. She said the cats have been having a party at home. Miss Sapphire even got sassy enough to prance around on the kitchen table and counters! Maya jumped over my pet gate into the master bedroom! Mama didn't appreciate these shenanigans.
The humans are looking forward to picking me up this afternoon so they can get some order back into their lives :)

I have a new home! Hip hip hooray!
At my first home, there were a lot of doggies running around. My mama and papa loved doggies so much. I had one litter of two puppies, but my second litter died :( Then I couldn't have any more babies. My mama and papa could see I needed lots of attention and loving, so they decided to find a new home for me.
I slept on a little toddler bed at my old home, but my new home I sleep on the couch or on my new fluffy bed.
There are two little animals here that hiss at me, called "cats." I don't like them so much; they seem like something I should be chasing. However my new mama says that soon we will be friends. I vaguely remember being friends with another cat at my old house, so maybe it will come back to me.
My human brother says I'm stinky :( so I am getting groomed today. Hopefully then I will smell like a ruby-red rose!!!
