Arrival Story: Poor little Ted has a pretty serious cleft palate. It looks bad, but he's healthy otherwise. He's a sweet boy who does great on a leash, is good with other dogs (big and small), is good with kids (babies included), is fairly petite in stature (about 40 pounds, but needs to gain at least 10 more). We're working on housetraining, and he is already doing great in the crate. Does have food protective issues, so will need to be sure to feed separately. He was left outside a lot and was escaping his back yard, so his owners surrendered him to the pound. He's definitely NOT cat friendly! But would do well with a family or even in an apartment. He's just a really cool dude who likes to hang with his people. We hope he finds the right family soon, one who can look past his not so pretty face and see his beautiful soul!
