This is weird. For the last few days we have had Moose, I keep calling him Brian??? I finally put 2-n-2 together and realized why. Moose is such a laid back dog with such a wrinkly face that he reminds me of that hound, Brian, from the movie Sweet Home Alabama (starring Reese Witherspoon for those who are not familiar with the movie).

Although I am still sticking with the name Moose--I could not find a name to fit him any better! Photos just do not show how massive this guy really is!

I am so jealous you got handsome Moose, but so happy for all of you! I was going to try to adopt him once he got a little closer to me in NH! PLEASE keep us all posted on that handsome boy and how happy he is with his new and wonderful family.

BIG hugs and BIG kisses given to the BIG sweetheart especially from you! I am so glad you came to visit Moose's Web site. I will keep it updated and get some videos on it soon.

Moose is very popular! A couple before me from California were going to adopt him but had a family emergency and had to cancel. I had previously inquired about adopting him 10 days too late. Then Steve told me that I was back in the game. Living with him the last week, I just can't imagine what happened? He is a perfect! He knows what it means when you tell him to go lay down or no, so it is clear that he was with someone that taught him these things--I just don't get it?? I need to stop thinking about how this sweet boy's life was before and just be there for him now, but it is puzzling.

Please keep me posted if you rescue or adopt from Rolling Dog in the future. They have so many that are easy to fall in love with! I wanted Samantha too--but knew Moose would be a better fit because of the frumpy ol Dalmatian ;)
