Hi, my name is Shai and I am an affectionate, loving, petite little boxer girl. I love to be loved and will greet you with such enthusiasm that my whole body wiggles from side to side.
Mommy says I am a good girl because I don’t jump on you. I love to run and play for a few minutes before I retire on the couch to snuggle up and watch tv. I do love to snuggle. I prefer your lap but will be satisfied if I can be beside you on the couch.
I share my toys and my food with my foster sister. I hope to find my forever home with someone who needs loving, since I am such a good companion.
Bio:
Shai is heartworm positive as of August 23, 2010. Undergoing treatment.

How To Adopt:

Requirements to Adopt:
Applicant(s) must be 21 years of age / Applicant(s) must be able to assist with transport of your new dog / Applicant(s) must agree to a homevisit and follow-up homevisit / All personal pets must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and on heartworm prevention./ Adopted boxers are required to be kept on heartworm prevention and current on vaccines for the duration of their lives./ Boxers will only be adopted to indoor homes.
Adoption Fees:
Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue's adoption fee is between $250 & $350, unless otherwise noted. All of our Boxers are fully vetted (including:neuter/spay, rabies vaccine, HW test, dhlpp vaccines, fecal and worming) as well as treated for any injuries or illnesses prior to adoption. All of our Boxers are on heartworm prevention.
Please Note:
Details on individual dogs will not be discussed until we have received and approved your application and your home visit. After both of these requirements are met a Representative will contact you and answer any questions you may have.
