Hi, everyone ~ I wanted to check in with you and let you know what I’ve been up to. It’s been so hot here that mom has to be careful when we take walks but I sure love to exercise. I absolutely adore humans of all shapes and sizes. I will jump up and give you a big ‘ol bear hug but for some reason mom keeps telling me that is not polite – hey, what’s a girl to do? I just love people so much that I just want to shower them with hugs, kisses, nub wiggles, and tap dances. I need to meet other dogs slowly because a big dog jumped on me before I got the Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue so I try to be on guard at first. Mom is working with me to learn that other dogs are usually not mean and that I can relax and play with them. I got to go to a place called the dog park this week and boy was that fun. I got to run around and stretch my legs really good and there were so many things to sniff and investigate. I also love playing with squeaky toys, trying to catch flies, and chasing lightening bugs. I’m also doing much better on my house training and mom calls me a flirt because I really like human men. If you ask me, I think she is just jealous because I’m so cute and not shy at all so I get their attention – she must think I’m competition – haha! If you want a girl that is as beautiful and exciting as the fireworks on the Fourth of July, then get that application in and ask to meet Jazzy! Until next time, boxer hugs and kisses!

Hi, everyone - Please allow me to introduce myself.....my name is Jazzy but my friends call me "Jazzmataz". I just joined the Blue Ridge gang about a month ago and have been getting settled into my foster home. I got spayed and got vaccinations but mom says I have something called heartworms. She said that she was going to help me get better so I will be ready to go to my new home - is that you? I live with a fur brother and four fur sisters - I really like playing with them but I'm a little afraid of mean dogs. I like any kind of toy that makes noise - mom giggles when I tilt my head trying to figure out what that noise is. A girl could get used to this life - it's like going to a spa. I got brushed, took a long bath with conditioner, got a flea and tick treatment and a soft bed to sleep on - I even have my own room. Mom tells me that I'm the cutest thing b/c of my happy ears and they way I prance around - I guess my name suits me! Mom gets really excited when I do my business in the yard and I'm working on not jumping up on you. I jump because I get so excited to see you but mom says that I need to have good manners so we are practicing both of these things. As soon as I get my heartworm treatment, I'll be ready to add some pazzazz to your life - choose me....choose me......please......you won't be disappointed.
