Arrival Story: I am a Morkie. My doggie mom is a Maltese and my doggie dad is a Yorkie and they are beautiful! I have the best traits of both! I came to my furever home on Saturday May 1st 2010 I was just a few days short of being 2 months old. I love my home! I have a big back yard and my own toys and a nice new bed! I also have a new brother Andy and he really loves me! My Human Mom and Dad give me lots of attention and rub my belly, which I really like. Mom and Dad says that they looked for a long time before they found me. All the time I was just five miles from my furever home! Mom and Dad says that they love me and that I am a real joy. When they came to pick me up I knew who they were ,I had seen them before, and I was ready to go to my new home. Mom held me in her lap in the front seat and I got to look out of the window!I really like to ride in the Jeep!I have been at my home now for almost a year and I am glad I have this home. I have a huge fenced back yard and a wonderful doggie big brother,Andy, and of course Mom and Dad. I settled right in as you can see by the pictures! This is the life that I always wanted and I show Mom, Dad and Andy how much I love them every day.
This is only my second Christmas and I think by looking at the packages under the tree it's going to be better than last year!!
I love the food and always get new treats. Mom and Dad said we might get snow so we will have a white Christmas! Mom and Dad also told me and Andy that we should not forget what Christmas is about. They said that Jesus loves us and that dogs, and yes cats, were put here on earth to make people happy. We will not forget! Happy Bithday Jesus! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all our dogster friends!
Ok the snow is all gone! I really don't like the snow and the cold weather. Right now it is 72 degrees! No more snow and time to run and play. Dad and Mom let us out last night and we got a real case of the "zoomies" we ran and ran all over the yard. Andy was real busy checking for the meaty bones he had hidden in the back yard, he found most of them, except for the ones I ate and the rest were real soggy! I got to play with my big blue ball last night and this morning. That was a lot of fun!Mom says that tomorrow is bath day because we are getting a little muddy and she and dad like us to be real clean. Looking forward to the weekend so we can run all day. No more snow for this Morkie! Bark at ya later!
Ok I have had enough of this stuff they call snow! First of all I like the snow but I'm only 8" tall and we have around 20" of snow and it is still snowing! You can do the math, I just kinda go out of site when I jump of the back deck. Dad has had to come dig me out a few times. I am learning how to play in the snow and it was fun for awhile but I'm ready for spring. Andy loves the snow as well but he is much taller and he does not get lost in it like I do. I'm going back to my crate and dream of spring and summer. Bark at ya later.
