Likes:
To sit and stare at you...as soon as you look over at him his tail goes nuts.

Pet-Peeves:
Being 'stalked' and humped by other male dogs at the park.

Favorite Toy:
Tennisballs. And people at the dog park carrying tennisballs.

Favorite Food:
Anything he can get in his mouth. He even inhales random fuzzies/bits of string on the floor.

Favorite Walk:
He's already ecstatic if you only mention the word 'outside'. You can't get much happier than that.

Best Tricks:
Making mommy feel bad for reprimanding him when he's done something wrong. He's come such a long way, and still, when he comes up and lays by my feet and looks up at me, with his eyes that just scream 'I'm sorry!!!' it just melts my heart.

Arrival Story:
I wanted a companion for my other Dog. So we took her to the shelter and let her meet a few that I was interested in. I went there looking for an older, preferably trained and housebroken dog. Unfortunately they either didn't like my dog or vice versa. My boyfriend saw Toby (back then named Charlie), who ran up to the kennel door and started jumping in circles and licking his hand. So I agreed to have the two meet and they got along...too good almost. They were barely interested in one another. When we let them off the leash, both dogs went off doing seperate things. Much better than growling at eachother, so he was adopted.

Bio:
When I first adopted him, you could barely yell at him. Anytime he would do something bad (pee/poop in the house, chew on things etc. (and he would pee inside about every 30 minutes)) and I would yell at him, the poor thing would -tuck his tail -run to the far end of the room -throw himself on his back -shield his face with his paws and flinch -and pee himself. Now, after a little over a year, he barely even stops wagging his tail when I have to reprimand him. And if I'm really angry, he'll come walking over and lay down by my feet and give me his puppy dog eyes. I'm glad he has a better home with me now.
