Arrival Story:
Piper & her seven siblings were abandoned on the steps of a vet clinic on a frigid night in January. She's some combination of Blue Heeler, Australian Shepherd or Catahoula... but she came in a box, so maybe she's part boxer. I had a Wisdom Panel run on her and those crackheads claim she's a dachshund/Gordon Setter/labrador mix... sure, she is. Shows you how craptastic their "dna test" is.
I kept kept telling myself (and everyone else) that I didn't want a puppy, couldn't have a puppy, didn't need a puppy, shouldn't have a puppy, but I reallllly liked her so I agreed to bring her home as "a temporary foster" to see how things worked out. Many months later, she's still here, lol.
