Arrival Story:
Found him at the shelter. he looked alot like my dog we just lost and I had to have him. He was scheduled to be put down the next day because his time limit was running out and the rest is history

Buddy was abused and almost starving when we found him. He had a few broken teeth and a stab wound near his neck. The other dogs in the cage with him wouldn't let him near the food bowl. He was so docile and timid. His eyes looked up and me as if to say "Please save me" It took me over one year of doing touch therapy on Buddy before anyone could touch him without him jumping and peeing all the time. We found out last year that Buddy has bone cancer. The vet could not remove all of it because it's in his ligaments and bone. He is my heart and my sweet baby boy. I can't believe anyone could have hurt him so much with abuse. 4-28-06Update on Buddy This past weekend I noticed Buddy had blood in his mouth. He didn't want me to look or touch it at all but I could see something on his left upper jawline that was dark red and bleeding. On monday I took Buddy to the vet. He tried to bite him everytime he touched his face. The vet said Buddy had some kind of growth but couldn't determine what it was until he did surgery. Tuesday morning (4-18-06) he had his operation. The news is grim. Buddy has a rapid growing, invasive type of cancer. It is in his jawbone, lip and mouth. Buddy has 2 to 3 months left to live. I will devote whatever time he has left to him and love him every minute. He has been a wonderful friend to me and I will cherish all the memories he has given me.

I still can't believe all 3 of my dogs are gone----
It hurts very much everytime I think of them.
I remember all the funny, silly things they all did to make me laugh....but I also remember holding them as each one drew their last breath.
I really miss my babies.....

On May 20, 2008 at 11:00 am Buddy passed away.
The growth on his leg got very bad and he stopped eating and taking his medications for 5 days. He lost 10 pounds and had a difficult time walking.
I had to make the decision to put him down.
He was my hero, my teacher, my best friend and had more courage and strength then any human I ever knew.
My heart is heavy and I miss him so bad.

Hello to all my friends---
Sorry I haven't been writing much lately. My mom is so busy working two jobs that she hardly has any time to spare
Anyway--I had a very ugly ulcerated growth on my front left leg. Mom thought my cancer metastasized and took me to the vet right away. he did a needle biopsy and guess what????
NO CANCER!!! He said I just had an abcess and had to take antibioctics
Mom calls me her wonder dog!!!
Lately, I have had a days where it's hard for me to go up the steps but my mom always is behind me to help me
I love all of you and PLEASE keep me in your prayers
