Arrival Story:
One of the Vet Adoption volunteers had been seeing this little dog each morning on her way to work, hanging around at a corner school bus stop. A few days ago as she was passing she saw a woman kick this little girl and she decided to stop and investigate. After one of the children ran into the street and brought Li'l Dot back to safety he told V.A. volunteer that Li'l Dot's family had moved away a while back and left her behind, to fend for herself. V.A. volunteer took Li'l Dot into her car and brought her to the Vet to get her checked out and thankfully she is healthy! Heartworm negative! After a bath and a checkup and some shots she came to live with us and immediately became friends with Coco, Corey, and Biskit. She has an appointment on Monday to get spayed and then she will stay with us until we find her a forever home. Check out va.petfinder.com for additional information as well as other adoptable pets.

Bio:
Li'l Dot was adopted and went to live with her new family on Sunday April 18, 2010! She will now be taking her walks with her new Mom & Dad in beautiful Audobon Park in New Orleans since she lives nearby.
