Arrival Story: After a long search and many calls for the right dog, we found her in an ad. We responded to an ad for her sister, but she had been sold. Molly was originally going to be adopted by the owners sister in Texas, but fortunately for us, she didn't make arrangements with the airlines ahead of time and wasn't able to take her, so she became available.
Bio: Molly's 'special'. Her mother is half Chihuahua, half Terrier and her father is Chihuahua. All her brothers and sisters looked like her terrier mother with long white hair. Molly was the only one that looked Chihuahua. Dogster Local Spots I've Marked: Huntington Dog Beach, Muttropolis - Newport Beach The Groups I'm In: Febreze® Pet Odor Eliminator™
Today I became an agility dog :)
I'm taking a class to learn to run an agility course. It started tonight and it was so much fun. I am the smallest and youngest dog, but that doesn't bother me. I enjoy running and jumping. I can run up and down ramps, jump through rings and over poles. The hardest part is the weaving poles. I don't quite understand that, but I only had an hour to take a crack at them. Hopefully next week will be just as good.
Yesterday I went in to get spayed and had to have my top baby fangs removed. I also found out my ear infection came back :( I'm not happy having to wear a cone on my head for 10 days and taking lots of medicine, so hopefully the days will go by fast. The painkillers knock me out but last night I woke up several times trying to get more confortable, its hard to sleep under covers with a cone. It's been pouring rain and there was even a tornado warning, so I still can't go outside. I really don't like the rain. I can't wait til I can lay in the sun again.
This past weekend I went on my first vacation. It was a long car ride, I slept most of the way though. I barely sat in my dog seat, it was much more fun to cuddle up on a lap and look out the window. I got to visit with my feline cousins Tilden, Ali and Owen. They weren't too fond of me though being of a dog. We went to a couple cool shops where the people paid lots of attention to me. Dog Bone Alley in Alameda was great. I got a cool new carrier by Pet Flys with a skull and crossbones on the side and a nice cozy little blanket inside. It will take some getting used to, but its much cooler than my previous one. I've already started putting my toys inside.
Today I played my first keyboard. It makes lots of cool noises and its fun to jump on. I still haven't figured out how it works, hopefully I will soon.
Next week I'm going to get spayed. I was supposed to today, but I don't want to miss my puppy school on Saturday, they're going to be playing lots of fun games. It might rain though, so puppy class could get cancelled. Paws crossed it doesn't.
Tomorrow we're going to the dog beach so I can romp around in the sand and water. I can't wait. I love meeting all the other dogs and the feel of sand between my toes.
