Arrival Story:
I'd been waiting my whole life to have a dog of my very own. Not a family dog. Not a housemate's dog. My very own dog. And that's Milo. He came home to live with me on April 15th, 2010, the same day that I signed the lease on my first off-campus rental house :)

Bio:
Milo came from the Angels for Animals Rescue League in Elida, OH. He had been there for about two weeks and was dropped off by someone who claimed to be moving away and couldn't find an affordable apartment that allowed dogs. I fell in love at first sight when I found Milo on Petfinder.com and, after reading his description, I knew that he would be perfect for me. He came to me with a deep passion for people, dogs, and squeaky toys. He is energetic, quirky, sweet, quiet, and bright. He's my constant companion and a wonderful exercise buddy. We're currently working on basic obedience and more advanced tricks ;) Milo knows sit, down, roll over, crawl, and beg. He shakes hands when you say "How do you do?" and he'll switch back and forth if you say "Gimme the other one." He plays dead when you point at him and say "Bang!" He lies still until someone claps and says "Wake up!" He spins in circles, begs, and gives high fives. He barks loudly when you say "Speak!" and growls quietly when you say "Shhhh". We're also currently working on identifying the names of different toys, licking his chops on command, and yawning when I ask if he's tired.
