Bertie came to me as a foster. I'd been looking for a teeny pom/chi type thing as a companion for Toby, and Bertie is not one of these, but Toby made it pretty clear he loved him. Not abided him, or put up with him, but loved him, absolutely truly adored him. Who am I to say no to Toby? So the best buddies get to stay together for good!
