I've been on Dogster for quite a while now, and I have some very nice friends. What a fun group. I love them all! Here's what has been happening in my life lately.

I have been traveling around the country with my dad for almost three years. Boy have we seen some places. My favorite places are the places that give me treats. Some of the customers that we go to have special treats for me. One toll booth attendant has special cookies baked from the oven (boy are those yummy!)

We have been in the mountains and the valleys. In the cities and the country. But no matter where we go, I always have an important job to do. I watch over the "security issues" while my daddy sleeps. If anybody comes within 25 feet of our big semi, I am sure to wake daddy up right away and warn him of the approaching danger.

One evening when we were both sleeping, a man tried to steel the CB radio antenna off my dads' truck mirror. Good thing I beat my daddy to the window and scared that mean man away, otherwise someone would have gotten hurt. There were many other times I was responsible for sounding the alarm, but...I don't want to brag.

On another subject. I got a little sick when we were in Lewiston Idaho. See, I had a bladder infection and it was making me pee a little blood with my urine. My daddy noticed that my urine was getting cloudy the day before and scheduled an appointment with my vetrinarian at home. Well it turns out I couldn't wait until we got home so he took me to the Lewiston Vetrinary Clinic. Boy are they nice people! They did some tests and discovered the infection and gave me a shot of antibiotics, and some antibiotics to take for ten days by mouth.

It's 12 days later now and the infection is completely gone. They told daddy that he can't keep giving me so many Pup-peronnis' and those Greenie treets that I love so much. They said it was way too much protein for the way my body processes it. So I guess I'll make due with the prescription treats that are good for me.

Well I better close for now, daddy is getting the big truck ready for another month on the road. I need to get my rest now so I can keep him safe out there. When you read this, if you would please say a prayer for me and daddy to have safe travel, we would appreciate it.

God bless all of you!
Ava
