Arrival Story:
My name is Jake. I'm an adorable Dachshund mix who found my forever home with the Hailey's last October (2009) when they adopted me from the shelter. The shelter said I had been hit by a truck and had also been scheduled for euthanasia within the hour that my picture had been taken for PetFinder and was given a reprieve, so they called me Merlin at the shelter for having cheated death. I didn't answer to that name, though; (I answered to kissy noises), so the Hailey's knew it was OK to rename me. I love my new family and home.:)
