Birthday: April 1st 2004 Arrival Story: Belle has arrived in foster care! More will be posted as we learn more about her! Bio: Belle has been retired from use as a "training dog" for biomedical research. Having spent her life in a laboratory, she can still be pretty overwhelmed by everything in the real world! She is generally very quiet and docile. She does love curling up on the couch with you, though! She craves attention from people, and will need a very patient adopter to help her work through her insecurities. She loves to be outside in the warm sun, so a fenced in yard is what we want for Belle. :) This way she can do so and still feel protected inside the yard! Right now, we would need someone who is home a good portion of the day to continue to help Belle get comfortable with the world. Although Belle is fine with children, we feel a household with young children and a lot of activity will NOT be a good one for her. She is cratetrained and continues to work on her housetraining! Are you willing to help a dog who may need a little extra time and patience? I've Been On Dogster Since:
