Arrival Story:
We adopted Max from a rural rescue service. He had been running aroud loose and someone had threatened to shoot him! When we went to look at him, he immediately won us over. He knew multiple commands, was house trained and walked on a leash, so we knew he had a human family at one time. He had heartworms, and having him treated was the first order of business. He's now healthy and content to be with us.
