Arrival Story:
Our friend found Jack on the side of a busy highway with no homes for miles. He was probably about 2 months old. He was a bit skittish at first and tentative with men. This friend already had 3 dogs and couldn't keep another. I had always wanted a small dog and really wanted a Jack Russel. Our American Eskimo had passed recently from Epilepsy. My husband and I had bought a Black Lab who I adored but there was still something missing in my heart. One day near our Anniversary my husband brought Jack home. My heart melted and from that day on he was my boy!

Bio:
Jack is full of energy. He will jump to my chest when I get home to greet me. He loves to softly bite at my fingers and pull me along to things to get my attention. He is dominant over my big black lab. It is hilarious to watch him. He thinks he is a pitbull, I swear. He isn't mean, though. He is very gentle, even with small kids. I was worried that the Chihuahua in him would make him a bit snappy, but he isn't. He also smiles if you smile at him. He raises his jowls. It is the cutest thing. Oh, and he used to love to play with our Ferret until she passed.
