Arrival Story:
We had wanted a dog for a while, and after lots of research, we finally decided on one of the "7 dwarf puppies", a group of 7 puppies that were brought to a home shelter in Chico, CA, after being found in a box on the side of the road. Hank was originally named "Dopey", and he was one of the three left (Dopey, Happy, and Doc) when we went to adopt him. He was the only one with long, black, brown, and white fur.
Bio:
Hank is also part Border Collie. We recently had a DNA test for him, and here were the results:
over 80% Basset Hound,
under 10% Standard Poodle,
under 10% Border Collie.
We had no idea that he was part poodle, so we were really excited!
