Best Tricks:
Foxy was kind of stupid, so she only knew 'sit'. She sure was CUTE, though! She could "hug".

Arrival Story:
Our neighbors had just moved in and had a pair of breeder golden retrievers. During the hectic part of the move, they didn't notice that their young female was in heat. A surprise litter came of lots and lots of puppies. Because we were dog lovers, we went to visit the puppies as new borns, then we saw them at eight weeks old. Only one puppy was left, a little female fluff ball. We weren't expecting to take her home, but our neighbor said "let her spend the day with her, then return her!" Well....we all know where that takes us! A day later, Foxy came home to live with us.

Bio:
Foxy had a rough life. Around six months after we got her, she had extreme aggression towards our two other female dogs. She wanted to be the alpha dog. She was kept in a large run on the side of our yard, only being let out with a muzzle on. She was very food/toy possessive, as well. Foxy nearly killed our old alpha dog many many times, but we didn't want to give her up because she was SO sweet to us humans. But, it eventually happened. Foxy got out and attacked our other dogs to the point where, when Foxy was lifted from the ground, our other dog was attached to Foxy's mouth. Foxy left for a wonderful Golden Retriever Rescue a week later, and we hear she's doing well. She lives with three other old, alpha golden retrievers, and we've heard they had absolutely no problem! We really miss Foxy, she was the sweetest, happiest puppy alive. That's why we had to get rid of her. She was my sister's dog, but I loved her just as much, too!
