Wow Oh Wow!

I'm a daily diary pick today! That is so beyond pawsome! I don't think I've ever been a diary pick, unlike my brother Patton who has had the honor numerous times.

First, I'd like to thank my ghost writer for helping me do my typing. Without her fingers, this diary would not be possible.

Second, I'd like to thank all of Dogster for reading my diary!!

No more ants

The family & I went camping this weekend. I'm not so sure that I liked it. First of all, it was hot, very hot... and I'm not fond of swimming so taking a dip in the lake/pond does not appeal to me.

Second of all, I'm not crazy about car rides or truck rides. Sometimes I get carsick. But I did very good this time. I guess mom got the timing correct between my mealtimes and my ride times.

Third, I do not like the ants that came into the campsite. They were mean! Little & mean! They bit my leggies and Patton's too. Good thing that Chipper's mom told our mom to make sure she packed some Benedryl. It came in handy. It helped soothe my itchy legs.

However, I did enjoy all the new smells. My nose was working overtime this weekend! And I got to dig in new places, super sweet!

OOPS!

My came across my Petfinder page that she printed out last year before she adopted me. See mom was cleaning off her desk yet again and this time she went through a different stack of papers. That's where she found the printout. Well..let's say mom was surprised when she looked at that piece of paper again.

Turns out it said "NO CATS"! How did mom ever overlook that? Especially knowing that Pip was supposed to eventually come back to live with us. No wonder Pip didn't like me. He must have know that I was anti-kitty. Poor Pip! Mom was telling dad about that today and she even showed him the page. He didn't remember seeing the no cats either. Guess they were just blinded by my cuteness! BUT dad really does like cats and he said since Pip went to the Rainbow Bridge, that he would like to have another cat in the future.... Mom doesn't think it will be such a good idea, guess we'll have to wait & see. Mom is going to delay it as long as she possibly can. She's hoping that once I get older & calm down a little, MAYBE I can learn to play nice with a kitty.
