Arrival Story: I usually take all my donations to a shelter in fort worth. It's out of the way from where I live but for some reason I was always drawn to it. I was dropping off some stuff one day and decided to look around. The guy showed me to the back and around the corner, leaning up against his cage was Milo. He just looked up at me and very lazily patted his puppy tail on the ground. I bent down so we were eye level and stuck my finger through the fence to stoke his nose. I leaned in to whisper to him that he would never have to spend another night alone here and took him home that night. Despite being vaccinated at the shelter we found out he had Parvo and needed to be treated immediately. We had him had the vet for a week and a half and finally brought him home. If it wasnt for that random visit to the back that day, the shelter surely would have put him to sleep due to the expensive treatment of Parvo.
