Arrival Story:
After a number of years not really wanting a dog, I suddenly wanted a dog. My husband was going to be busy with full time work and full time school, and I needed a buddy! We went to the local shelter and little 8-week-old Farley was in the last kennel. While a lot of other dogs barked and whined, Farley came shyly up to me and wagged his tail. He was a stray, rough fur with a pot-belly. I was hooked. Farley has been a great dog, and he's grown up to be big and handsome - no pot-belly!
