Tonight was my obedience class night again so Toto and I got to hang out with Mom until it was time to go. Well, I was innocently lying in the dog bed enjoying the peace and quiet when along came that Smokey cat! He actually JUMPED on me and started beating me up. The nerve! We tusseled around for quite a while but I finally won the fight, although he actually BIT my tongue!!! It's not really fair fighting against him cuz he has claws and he knows how to use them.
Before that, Mom took us all outside to play since it was still bright and sunny after 5 pm. After running around for a bit...it was very good running tonight cuz the whole field of snow was frozen enough to hold us up, I discovered that the mousies are now beginning to move around in the dried grass up against the big fence. I guess it must be warmer there?? Anyway, I convinced Georgie to help me and we searched and searched and chased and chased but we didn't catch a single one of them. Ahh, but now I know where they are hanging out so I can try again tomorrow!!! I can't wait!
Hey, maybe Mom should let us take Smokey cat out with us...he can certainly help us catch the mousies!!!
