They tell me I came through surgery well. I guess it wasn't an April Fools joke.
I am looking forward to coming home tomorrow night. Mom decided to leave the plate and screws in from my left leg TPLO - doctor said it might be good to take them out but it wasn't necessary. Once I'm home I'm sure mom will post pictures. Hopefully I heal as well as the first time and I'll be able to run again in 6 months.....
Dad said when he talked to the doctor assistant she told him I was the sweetest temperment she had ever seen in a husky. Do you think she tells everyone that?

I was 22 weeks post op from my left knee TPLO surgery. Dad finally let me run off leash for the first time in my backyard. Mom heard me cry loudly, ran downstairs and found me laying on the ground with dad. Mom was not happy with dad but I heard him say if it happened today, then it was going to happen.
They took me back to that place I don't like - this guy took my leg to test my range of motion (and other things I didn't understand) he made me cry in pain when he pulled my right leg. I heard him tell mom and dad I need TPLO on my right knee. My leg is at a 34 degree angle so I guess that is too much to try one of the other less expensive surgeries. Frankly I think any surgery bites....and they shave all of your fur.
I heard mom say she is nervous to "put me under again" which sounds a bit sinister to me. (I wonder what they put you under?) I heard her say she will probably have them remove the plate and screws on my left leg at the same time they cut my right leg then put a plate and screws in it. Paws crossed I come through my April 1st surgery and recovery as well as my first TPLO. Do you think having this done on April Fool's could mean the whole thing is a joke?
