Arrival Story:
Annie wandered into my life one day as a lost stray. She had followed a neighbor boy as he was walking home from the store. He lived across from the construction yard we had in Richmond, CA. She had a tattered old yellow rope around her neck that she had pulled free of somehow. She was a little orphan, very shy, so cute and so friendly. The boy across the street couldn't keep her. It was love at first site for me, so I took her in, got her to the vet, had all her shots as well as having her spayed and named her Annie. The vet guessed her to be around 6mos. of age as well as identifying her as most likely a mix between pit bull and greyhound. She's been my best friend ever since.

Bio:
Annie being part greyhound loves to run almost as much as she loves to curl up on the couch for a good dognap. She loves to travel to Los Gatos and visit her boyfriends Jack and Max. She loves to go on hikes, take trips to Lake Tahoe, play in the ocean, cuddle, and oh, chase the ball!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Please check out: www.badrap.org

R.I.P.:
After a bewilderingly short but brave fight with Canine Lymphoma, Annie died Wednesday morning, January 30th, 2008 of acute liver failure. My heart aches and my thoughts are full of all the happiness she brought to my life. I will miss her like crazy. There will never be another dog like her. Thank you to all who helped her be the dog she was and loved her just as much if not more than I did and well, always will. Goodbye dogdog.... i love you.....
