HELLO EVERYBODY! In case you forgot, my name is Gilbert and I am looking to
adopt a new family. I am 18 months old and full of puppy love. I have been
neutered, microchipped and I am up to date on my shots. I am a healthy 53
pounds. I love dogs, kids, adults, cats…you name it, I love it! I love to
play with the other boxers in the house. They seem to like it when I steal
toys and then run away. They chase me so they can tell me what a good boy I
am and how handsome too! Come to think of it, my foster mom tells me the
same thing, so it must be true! I am almost completely housebroken, but
sometimes my foster mom is slow to hear me signaling her. I love love love
breakfast. And dinner. When it is time to eat I run to my kennel and sit. If
my foster mom is a bit slow I will run back into the kitchen to show her the
way to my kennel. I take treats gently. I am such a good boy like that! I
sleep in the teenager’s room at night, mostly on my bed. I am great in the
car, usually I just curl up and sleep. I like to go for walks. My foster
mom walks too slowly so I have to pull her along sometimes. I only jumped
out of the tub once during bath-time. Then my foster mom told me that wasnt
good behavior. So I snuggled her for the rest of my bath. (She grumbled
something about not knowing it was her bathtime too.) I do not jump up on
people like some crazy boxers in this house. I do not bark when the
doorbell rings like some crazy boxers in this house. But I do like to run
for joy when my foster mom takes me outside into the fenced back yard. Then
I run back and forth and back and forth and back and forth until my tongue
hangs out. I cant believe I havent found my new family yet - but I am not
giving up hope. I know they are out there looking for me just like I am

Former jailbird looking for a forever companion. Currently living in a
half-way house with dreams of a forever family. I am a 17 month old fawn
male who loves to have a good time. I appreciate the finer things in life,
like long walks on the beach, snuggling in front of the fire and eating
kibble by candlelight. I am housebroken and almost crate trained. I go
into the crate willingly but sometimes I am so lonesome that I cry. I
prefer to be with my companions, human or canine. I am timid before I get
to know you and have been known to peep around the corners to see what you
are doing. A favorite game of mine is to take a running leap and jump
on the sleeping boxers in the house. I only chew my toys, not furniture. I
am particularly fond of balls and nylabones. I am very good in the car. I
have learned sit and have almost learned down and shake. While I dont love
a bath, I am obedient and well mannered. But surely you wouldnt expect
anything less of me? So, if you are looking for a leggy, athletic type,
give me a try. Once you meet me, you will wonder where I have been all your
