Hey Hey everyone, it’s me Olive here, and I am still searching for my loving and active family. All I want to do is have fun, all the time. I want someone to play with me, love me, and show me the ropes (continue with my training). I am just a typical teenage girl! I love playing with other dogs, but would need a very active and rowdy player as a companion or one that can tolerate it as I love to wrestle and pounce and go crazy with my doggie friends. I LOVE going for walks and meeting new people. Kids love meeting me and playing with me on our walks and I love every minute of it. I love car rides, there is always something fun to do in the end. It’s exciting to find out where I am heading and who I will get to meet along the way. I may be one on the go girl, but I do love chewing on a bone when resting on the floor or cuddling with my foster mom at times. Oh and by the way I am one smart cookie too. I can learn anything you want to teach me and very quickly. My foster mom has taught me all kinds of things like sit, down, come, stay, wait, heel on the leash, and to go in my crate when asked. I am very responsive to my training and would love to continue to work on more things with my new family. Hurry right this way and meet me today....I am looking forward to going home and having some fun with you!

Hi, Hi, HI!!! I am OLIVE! I am new to this whole computer thing so if I dont get something right, sorry! I am just a baby at only 4 months old. I landed myself in a sticky old cement run waiting for someone to help me and lone behold here I am with Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue and in a great foster home. I have a foster mommy and LOTS of foster fur siblings big and small. Mom is not positive about all of my background but she feels I left my mom and littermates way to early and never learned proper socialization and went to a home with no other doggies and spent a lot of time in the crate for puppy biting. With no proper socialization and affection and exercise I started to become fearful of things, pair that up with the natural tendency of boxers to be a bit dominant in nature and I was quite the pistol a few weeks ago. She when people touched me it scared me some and I felt the need to protect myself by biting, I also was terrified of the other doggies and would growl and snap to let them know to leave me alone because I did not know what they wanted. I ended up in such a great foster home though, see my foster mommy teaches doggies how to be good, I think they call her a trainer, so she is teaching me some manners and proper socialization techniques. I am learning to walk well on the leash, I now know sit, and down, come and wait. I am one smart cookie if I do say so. This has helped boost my confidence and I now am feeling better about people, I LOVE their attention and want it all the time now, mom says I can not be demanding about it so she is helping me understand that. I now know that the other doggies just want to play with me, not hurt me and so I now enjoy running, pouncing, and acting goofy right with those big ones. New doggies still intimidate me a bit but in time I like to wrestle with them too. If your looking for an adorable, fiesty, full of spunk and energy little girl I am it. I may need some further help to overcome tiny things like walking out in public and meeting new dogs but I think I am worth the training help dont you? I know my foster mom is working everyday to help me and make me better, and is going to help whoever wants to take me home as well....what more could a girl ask for...I am one lucky pup that I know for sure...

Dont you want to play with me too!
Hi there Olive's foster mom here, Olive is a very lively and active 5 1/2-6 month old boxer girl. She loves to run and play and keep everyone on their toes. She is doing great with housetraining and is great in a crate, she will whine from time to time initially going in but that is because all the fun has been cut off, she settles down quickly and does great. Olive is very full of herself sometimes so a rather experienced boxer owner would be more than ideal for her. She came to us with some behavioral issues and has greatly excelled in overcoming them, however we prefer no home with small children for miss Olive, she loves kids and again loves to play but small ones are just to young for her. She needs Lots of exercise and plenty of stimulation to be a happy girl. She is a bright cookie and loves to learn, very food motivated so teaching her something is never hard. She already knows sit, come, stay, wait and go to bed. She still has
some leash manners to learn as she gets SOOOO excited to go for walks, but she does really well on a gentle leader. Olive needs a home where she has a firm foundation and some guidelines. She can not be allowed to do as she pleases, she has come such a long way from the terrified and overly assertive girl she was when we found her, we don't want to see her regress. However she loves her structure and rules and obeys very well. If you are a runner, or love hiking, or biking, or anything active she is a girl for that. Teach her to play fetch she would be an awesome frisbee athlete. She would also excel well in agility training which could be a great bonding tool and fun for the whole family. Olive loves to cuddle and snuggle but she loves to play more than anything else in her world! She really can lite up a room and make everyone smile. She is super pretty too, by they way, she gets compliments everywhere she goes. If your looking for
a new teenager to bring into your family look no further, Olive will fit the bill.
