GOOD NEWS!!!! My foster mom took me to the vet on August 5th and they drew my blood which showed that I am now heartworm free!!!! WOOHOO! I am so happy they are gone and feeling me. Surely I will find my forever home now. I am a great boy and will be someone’s best friend. I love getting one on one attention so being an only dog is probably the best for me, but who knows I might like having a friend. I have 6 friends here at my foster home. Just ask to meet me and my foster home will work out the details.

Hi guys!! My name is Kyle, I have now been in my foster home for about 2 weeks and let me tell you...I LOVE being a house dog! You know what the first thing people say when they see me is? "WOW! That is a BIG dog!" I cannot figure this out. I am only about 81 lbs and that is not big, right? I really love to sit in your lap and get hugs and kisses. I am a little clumsy but very smart! I know my name and I know how to sit and roll over. I am not to fond of going into my crate but I am learning that I do not stay there long so it will be ok. I come when called and am housebroken. I am living with all kinds of siblings, there are 2 other boxers here, a husky, a coonhound, and 2 mini dachshunds and I LOVE them all. I even like to cuddle with those tiny ones. Kids are great! They are about my size and we can see eye to eye, but since I do weight twice the amount of most kids I have to be careful to not accidentally tip them over. My foster mom says my only problems are that I still need to learn leash manners and not be so picky with my food. She also says that I am a gentle giant and am an good boy, she loves me and you will too!!

Energy Level - 5 can be playful/hyper at times and then very lazy at times
Must be in a home that: Doesn't matter with other dogs
Needs the following: Crated when left alone, Needs some obedience training
Needs work on - Manners, Leash work

Update 4/28/10:
Kyle here, I am still in my foster home and as much as I love all of these other dogs here I would really like a forever home where I will get more attention. I love to be pet and cuddled. I have decided that I do not like all male dogs, some are ok, but I am not sure about all of them. I like all females I have met so far and do great with little dogs. I am 100% housetrained and have not had an accident in over a month now. Still not liking the crate but I am dealing with it. I really enjoy being inside and lounging on the couch or the floor, either is ok. I still know how to sit and roll over, but am trying to do better with walking on a leash. I want to please you and I will be a good boy. Just ask how to arrange a meeting with me, it will be love at first site. I will be starting my heartworm treatment to kill of those nasty things, but I had no clue I had them, they sure do not stop me from being my wonderful self.
